At 02:14hrs, City of Norwalk Firefighters were dispatched to a motor vehicle accident at the intersection of East Avenue & Van Zant St on the "East Side" of the City.

On October 21st, NFD Local 830 members Capt Mark Franzen and FF Colin Curran were honored at the Connecticut Exchange Club’s 2025 Firefighter of the Year Awards.
