Division of Apparatus Maintenance
Apparatus Maintenance Address- 100 Fairfield Ave
The Norwalk Fire Department Division of Apparatus Maintenance is located on Fairfield Avenue, directly across from Central Fire Headquarters, divided by Interstate 95. It is the former transit district garage that was repurposed to the NFD in 2001. 2 full time and 2 part time mechanics service our front line and reserve apparatus fleet in 4 service bays with additional room to house our hazmat apparatus, collapse response apparatus, fire investigation, reserve apparatus, antique apparatus, and support vehicles.
