| At 1756hrs on March 25th, Engine Co.'s 2, 5, and 1 as RIT, Truck Co.'s 2 and 1, Rescue Co. 2, and Car 2 (shift commander) with 25 Norwalk Professional Firefighters responded on the structural fire assignment to 19 Avenue E.
NFD Local 830 members located and extinguished a fire in a second floor bedroom of the two story residence. The fire was contained to the room of origin.
No injuries were reported. Two residents were displaced and assisted by the Red Cross. The cause of the fire is under investigation by the Norwalk Fire Marshal’s Office.
While multiple NFD companies operated at the fire, the last two remaining NFD Engine Companies from Engine Co. 3 and Engine Co. 4 covered the city. |
