Norwalk Professional Firefighters Local 830 hosted “Comedy for a Cause” to a sold out crowd at the New York Comedy Club in Stamford, Connecticut, with a number of comedians that kept the crowd laughing and rolling all night long.

The event was dedicated in memory of our fallen brothers: NFD Firefighter Ralph Geter, whom passed away on October 5th, 2021, NFD Firefighter Craig Saris, whom passed away on February 6th, 2023, and Deputy Fire Marshal Luca Feola, who most recently passed on August 27, 2023. All three were active duty members of NFD Local 830 that all sadly succumbed to their illnesses following courageous battles with occupational cancer.

A total of $10,000 was raised and donated to the Tunnel to Towers Foundation which has greatly supported the families of our fallen NFD members. The T2T Foundation is a staunch supporter of catastrophically injured veterans and first responders and those that have lost their lives in the line of duty.
